Al Kharaitiyat coach Yousef Adam spoke to the media ahead of their 2020-21 season QNB Stars League Week 8 match against Umm Salal.

“We go into this match with the aim of winning and collecting full points, especially since Umm Salal are considered as one of the teams directly competing with us in the table.

“The team’s preparations are complete, they were done well and there was plenty of time to prepare the squad well. There are no injuries affecting the starting line-up.

“We have to double our efforts and focus to achieve victory, and the team is progressing well. There is a state of harmony between the players. The more the matches they play, the better the harmony among them.

“I cannot talk now about the team’s need for new players to join during the winter transfer period because it is too early to talk about this matter and we are now focusing on the matches that are coming, especially the one against Umm Salal. When the winter transfer period comes, we can talk about that,” said Yousef.

Al Kharaitiyat player Mohammed Salam said, “We are coming off a loss and we should win this match because another defeat will make matters complicated, so we will work to double our focus and make all efforts in this match with the goal of winning.

“Our team will fight against Umm Salal with the aim of winning full points and that will only happen with persistence, determination and implementation of instructions from the technical staff.”
