Al Shahania coach Jose Murcia spoke to the media ahead of their QNB Stars League Week 6 match against Al Arabi.

“It is true that we are doing well. We are happy with our performance. I want my players to keep working hard with humility. We go step by step. We know our path is difficult.

“Our ambition is three points from this game. We want to go up in the QNB Stars League standings. We cannot afford to make many mistakes.

“Our performance is somewhat up to the mark. The mentality of our players is good. We do not have big names. Ours is more of a team work. We have to keep faith in our players. I want my players to stay humble.

“Al Arabi are a good team. They have a good coach too. We have seen how they perform.

“Although we are satisfied, we are keen to raise the level of our game. We are striving hard to achieve that. Our main goal is to stay in the First Division. We do not want to think about going back to the Second Division.

“At the moment, we are just thinking about the Al Arabi match. We should not dream too much,” said Murcia.
