Al Duhail coach Sabri Lamouchi spoke to the media ahead of their 2020-21 season QNB Stars League Week 8 match against Al Sailiya.

“It is important for us to win against Al Sailiya to get the second victory in a row after we beat Al Kharaitiyat last week. There is still the absence of Bassam Al Rawi and Assim Madibo despite their return to the team. The two have not yet reached the match readiness. If the team stays focused in the next match, God willing, we will achieve victory.

“There is no doubt that facing Al Sailiya is as important as other matches in the league. We will take this match seriously and fight with full force without considering the position of the opposing team. Yes, we will work hard to achieve victory and look organized,” said Lamouchi.

Al Duhail player Ramin Rezaeian said, “It is necessary to work hard in order to achieve victory in the team's next match against Al Sailiya, who are a good team and have a good coach. But in Al Duhail, we are looking forward to winning, collecting the three points and appearing at a good level. We must stay focused in this match to continue the good performance and achieve the desired result.

“We played a good match against Al Kharaitiyat and we should have had a reaction after our loss to Al Gharafa. We worked hard in training and faced a good team, but our motives were greater and we achieved the required result.”
