Al Khor coach Omar Najhi spoke to the media ahead of their 2019-20 QNB Stars League Week 20 match against Al Gharafa.

“The match against Al Gharafa is very important for us. It is difficult to play against a team that plays good football. However, we have no choice but to win. We can say that we are able to beat Al Gharafa.

“The players feel responsible and are determined to collect points, as it will boost their morale greatly. We look at our team and not other sides. Achieving positive results is one of our priorities and my team is able to achieve a positive result against Al Gharafa as well.

“Our team is not tensed and we are working on the psychological side a lot. Between the two halves, we correct some important things that we find necessary,” said Omar.

Al Khor player Ahmed Hammoudan said, “There is great pressure on the team because of our position in the table, but everyone understands the responsibility. We have an important and difficult match against Al Gharafa, and we seek to collect three points. Unfortunately, we had wasted a lot of points which we could have bagged. We were able to beat many teams we faced, including big names, or at least earn draws with them.”
