We must stay fully focused against Al Khor: Al Sadd coach Xavi

Al Sadd coach Xavi Hernandez spoke to the media ahead of their Tuesday’s 2019-20 QNB Stars League match against Al Khor, deferred from Week 7.

“The match will be difficult even though we are coming from our Qatar Cup triumph with a big victory in the final. We are required to stay focused in all remaining league matches starting with this one against Al Khor, deferred from Week 7 because of our AFC Champions League campaign.

“We have so far lost four games in the league championship, and we have to make up for all that and achieve victories in all upcoming matches.

“No doubt, Al Khor are a team that has improved a lot in recent times and is known for making counter-attacks. Since this game is played on their home turf, we must be in full focus, so as not to lose points.

“I have asked my players to stay fully concentrated because we lost to Qatar SC and Al Wakrah due to that factor. If we are not in full focus, we may lose again and our mission becomes very difficult,” said Xavi.
