We must beat Umm Salal: Al Khor coach Najhi

Al Khor coach Omar Najhi spoke to the media ahead of their 2019-20 QNB Stars League Week 13 match against Umm Salal.

“We must win the match against Umm Salal as we cannot afford to keep losing points. The gap between our last match against Al Sadd and this one against Umm Salal is only three days. It is not enough time for proper preparations, but focus was on some technical aspects and Umm Salal’s playing style as we bid to face them the best way.

“The focus in the three days to the match was more on psychological aspects. It is important for such matches. Thank God, the players know well what is required and they play their roles.

“The players did their job in the last game against Al Sadd, but unfortunately they were unable to come out with points. That does not undermine the efforts that they put in. God willing, we will continue with the same level and high spirit to achieve victory over Umm Salal,” said Najhi.
