Ahmed Yasser, who played for Al Duhail in the QSL Cup final against Al Gharafa after the end of his loan period with Vissel Kobe, admitted that Al Duhail did not succeed in translating the chances they made into goals. Instead, Al Gharafa took advantage of the opportunity that came their way and scored a goal to retain the cup.

He stressed that Al Duhail were in control for most part of the game, especially in the second half, but could not convert the opportunities into goals.

“In football, if you do not take your chances, you could lose, especially in a final. Congratulations to Al Gharafa and their players on the achievement,” said Yasser.
