Al Khor’s assistant coach Mustafa Al Sweheb spoke to media ahead of their QNB Stars League Week 11 match against Al Rayyan.

“Our goal is to get a positive result against Al Rayyan. We are not in a good position and we are not satisfied with our position. We could have been in the middle of the points table. We were hoping more after the arrival of new professionals that we would do well. There were some mistakes, but now we are working to correct them and the management is always working and supporting us. Surely there will be proper discussions with the players ahead of the next match.

“It will be a difficult match for both parties as Al Rayyan, one of the strong sides in Qatar, is coming from a loss and will be looking for the three points. We are also looking for the three points for sure, so it will be a strong match between the two teams,” said Mustafa.

Al Khor player Mohamed Al Sayed said, “We are not satisfied with our situation, but this is football. These things happen. We can, by ourselves, correct the current situation. The atmosphere is good in the team, but we need positive results in order to go on the right path. We have seven points and a few other teams in the points table are close to us. We have to make our full efforts in training and matches. We have many quality young players in the team who will have a great future.”
