THE CHEETAHS BEAT AL-RAYYAN 2:1
Our squad scored a precious victory over Al-Rayyan 2:1 in the clash held in QSL Round 21.
Rashid Sumaila and Abdul Ghani Muneer scored for Al-Gharafa in the Minutes 55 and 74 whilst Nathan scored for Al-Rayyan in the 14th minute.
The two teams swapped control over the game and although our team ended the first half trailing Al-Rayyan by one goal, the Cheetahs bared their teeth in the second half and produced a distinguished display snatching the game by two goals to one.
This win raises our points tally to 37 to sit Fifth in QSL standings but get nearer to the Top Four and leaves Al-Rayyan sitting third with 44 points.
