Steve Nicol explains why Xherdan Shaqiri's attitude worries him after the Swiss star completed a move to Liverpool from relegated Stoke City. Former Liverpool defender Steve Nicol doesn't mince his words when responding to Dejan Lovren's comments about being one of the world's top defenders.

Roberto Firmino will rejoin Liverpool at the end of the month, meaning he will miss out on the club's tour of the United States after participating in the World Cup with Brazil.

Firmino will link up with his teammates for a four-day training camp in France that will take place after the final International Champions Cup game against Manchester United on July 28.

Liverpool open the Premier League season against West Ham United at Anfield on Aug. 11.

"Bobby will be in for the second camp," manager Jurgen Klopp told Liverpool's website. "Then we have the English guys [and] Simon [Mignolet] and Dejan [Lovren] will come another week later. We'll already be back from France and will have exactly one week to prepare [for] the game. That's no problem."

Liverpool will also face Borussia Dortmund, Klopp's former side, and Premier League champions Manchester City in the U.S.

Brazil were knocked out of the competition following a quarterfinal loss to Mignolet and Belgium, who in turn were defeated in the semifinals by France -- the opponent for Lovren and Croatia in the final.
