The QNB Stars League Week 20 games will be played on Saturday, 30th March, and Sunday, 31st March, with three matches on each day.

The fixtures are Al Ahli vs Al Arabi (17:05) at Al Ahli Stadium, Al Gharafa vs Al Rayyan (17:05) at Al Duhail Stadium, Al Duhail vs Al Sadd (19:15) at Al Duhail Stadium on Saturday, Al Khor vs Al Kharaitiyat (17:05) at Al Khor Stadium, Qatar SC vs Umm Salal (17:05) at Qatar SC Stadium and Al Shahania vs Al Sailiya (19:15) at Qatar SC Stadium on Sunday.

The 20th round assumes more significance as it features the heavyweight clash between leaders Al Sadd and reigning champions Al Duhail, that may even decide the 2018-19 season QNB Stars League’s title.

Al Sadd (50) have a four-point lead over Al Duhail. So The Wolves will take an unassailable lead and regain the coveted league shield if they beat Al Duhail, with only two more rounds of action remaining.

On the other hand, Al Duhail will still be in with a chance to retain the title if they defeat Al Sadd or pull off a draw.

Al Ahli and Al Arabi will open the week’s action, followed by the Al Gharafa vs Al Rayyan match-up.

Al Ahli are placed fifth with 30 points, while Al Arabi are close behind, in sixth position with 27 points.

The game between Al Gharafa and Al Rayyan will also evoke keen interest from the fans’ point of view as well.

Al Gharafa have 22 points and are seventh in the QNB Stars League standings, whereas Al Rayyan are third with 33 points.

Al Duhail and Al Sadd will wind up the opening day’s proceedings.

Saturday’s simultaneous kick-offs will see Al Khor host a charged-up Al Kharaitiyat and Qatar SC play host to Umm Salal.

Al Khor and Al Kharaitiyat are sure to go all out as they are the bottom-placed two teams with 15 and 12 points respectively.

Al Kharaitiyat go into the match having completed a hat-trick of victories. However, if they lose, Al Khor will move to 18 points, making their stay in the top flight at stake.

Qatar SC and Umm Salal are both coming off defeats, so they will definitely look for points to improve their positions.

Qatar SC stand 10th (16 points) and Umm Salal ninth (20 points).

Al Shahania and Al Sailiya will face off against each other in the round’s last kick-off.

Al Shahania, eighth with 21 points, will be keen on continuing their good run, while Al Sailiya (31 points) will eye nothing less than a victory in their bid to stay in the top four.
