The Qatar Stars League announced the date and kick-off time of the play-off match for the 2019-20 season, which will pit 11th-placed team in the just-concluded QNB Stars League (Al Khor) against Second Division runners-up of this season (Al Markhiya).

The match, to determine which team will feature in next season’s top flight, will be played on Friday, 28th August, 2020, at the Al Janoub Stadium. The kick-off is at 18:30.

The match regulations stipulate that in the event of a tie, extra time of 30 minutes (15 minutes in each half) will be played. If that also ends in a draw, penalty shoot-out will decide the winners.
