Qatar SC, Al Kharaitiyat seek second win

The QNB Stars League Week 8 match between Qatar SC and Al Kharaitiyat on 5th October is sure to evoke keen interest for many reasons.

Qatar SC are on four points from one victory and a draw, while Al Kharaitiyat are 11th with three points.

Qatar SC were beaten 5-1 by A Sadd in the previous round. In contrast, Al Kharaitiyat registered their first win, against Al Gharafa 2-0, to collect their first points. Striker Abdulhadi Amin scored both their goals.

Qatar SC have only their upset win over Al Gharafa in the opening week and draw with Al Khor to show for their efforts.

So both teams are eyeing their second victory.

Qatar SC have scored eight goals, but conceded 16, while Al Kharaitiyat netted six and conceded 15 goals.

They both are at the bottom of the table, so they are sure to go all out in order to stay away from the danger zone.

Qatar SC had replaced coach Abdulla Mubarak with Yousef Al Noobi, while Al Kharaitiyat brought in Moroccan Abdulaziz El Amri with Tunisian Nassif Al Bayawi.

Cameroonian star Samuel Eto’o leads Qatar SC’s charge.

Al Kharaitiyat will mainly rely on Algerian attacking midfielder Jugurtha Hamroun and Abdulhadi Amin to deliver the goods.
