Our goal is full points against Al Kharaitiyat: Al Rayyan’s U-23 coach Souza

Al Rayyan’s Under-23 coach Gilson Souza spoke to the media ahead of their QNB Stars League Week 15 match against Al Kharaitiyat.

“We played a good game against leaders and holders Al Duhail in the last round and got a valuable point. But this does not make us complacent ahead of the Al Kharaitiyat match because our players have a lot of experience.

“Al Kharaitiyat show a lot of fighting spirit and they are keen to wriggle out of precarious situation. We will face Al Kharaitiyat with all our strength and we will play to win.

“Our young goalkeeper Fahd Younis put up an outstanding display against Al Duhail. In fact, he helped us draw the game.

“It is difficult to predict whether Al Duhail or Al Sadd will win the league. Al Sadd have closed the gap with Al Duhail and the title race might go down to the wire,” said Souza.
