Ooredoo Cup Round 2 – Umm Salal vs Al Arabi

Umm Salal face Al Arabi in Round 2 (Group B) of the 2020-21 season Ooredoo Cup at the Al Arabi Stadium on Monday. The kick-off is at 20:00.

Umm Salal, who had lost 0-2 to Al Gharafa in their opener, will definitely look to make amends when they take on Al Arabi.

The Orange Fortress have revamped their squad, mainly by recruiting a couple of overseas players, and their Moroccan coach Aziz Ben Askar, himself their former defender, will expect nothing less than a victory from his wards.

On the other hand, Al Arabi are on a high after beating Al Ahli 5-1 in Round 1. The Dream Team will also look to make up for their lapses at the beginning of the 2020-21 season QNB Stars League, where they are languishing at the 11th position.

Al Gharafa, Al Rayyan, Al Kharaitiyat and Al Ahli are the other teams in Group B.
