The fifth and final-round matches of 2020-21 season Ooredoo Cup’s group stage, played on 9th and 10th November, witnessed exciting contests and dramatic action, at the end of which the eight quarterfinalists (top-four teams from Group A and B) were determined.

Al Wakrah topped Group A with 11 points following their 5-0 victory over Al Sadd, who finished fourth with seven points. Neveretheless, Al Sadd too progressed to the knockout quarterfinals.

Al Khor emerged as the runners-up in the group with nine points after they beat Al Duhail 6-0.

Al Duhail, who ended up last with three points, and Qatar SC, who lost to Al Sailiya by a last-gasp goal to finish fifth with four points, bowed out of the competition.

Al Sailiya secured the third spot with eight points.

In Group B, Al Gharafa came in first place with 13 points. They beat Al Ahli by a 3-0 margin in Round 5.

Al Ahli, who finished last in the group with one point, exited the tournament alongside Umm Salal, who finished fifth with four points following their 0-2 loss to Al Rayyan.

Al Rayyan ended up third with seven points.

Al Arabi secured the second spot in the group with 11 points after defeating Al Kharaitiyat 2-1, who came in the fourth position with six points.
