OFFICIAL: Al-Sadd sign Marco Fabian

Al-Sadd SC has officially signed with Mexican midfielder Marco Fabian until the end of the 2019/20 season, as the team’s fifth foreign player.

Marco had earlier reached Doha on Tuesday, ahead of a medical and completing negotiations before officially signed going his contract in the presence of club general manager Turki Al Ali.

The Mexican international last played for Major League Soccer side Philadelphia Union. He will wear the 33 number jersey with Al-Sadd.

Speaking to the club website, Marco expressed his great happiness in signing with Al-Sadd, pointing out that this is a new and exciting challenge in his footballing career.

Marco said: “I’m happy to play in the Qatari league, and I am ready for this new challenge. I aim to take to this experience with all my strength.”

The player added: “My goal with Al Sadd will be to compete and win titles.”

“I am happy to be in Qatar, and happy to play for Al Sadd. ”
