Al Sailiya coach Sami Trabelsi spoke to the media ahead of their 2020-21 season QNB Stars League Week 11 match against Al Arabi.

“There was not enough time to prepare, there is a match every four or five days, and our focus is currently on working to restore physical fitness, and we are working on the offensive aspects as we miss many scoring opportunities.

“We needed to achieve victory in the last match against Umm Salal to create a moral incentive, but we seek to be more prepared.

“The task is difficult for all clubs except for Al Sadd. I believe Al Arabi are able to return to present a distinguished level, especially since it is a good team, and I hope that our motivation is greater than that of Al Arabi and we are able to win.

“We wasted many opportunities despite reaching the opponents’ goal and we were unable to take advantage of the opportunities that we had.

“My evaluation of the level of Al Sailiya team is not up to the mark and we did not provide the required response, especially in those matches that we lost. We could have been better and wasted easy chances,” said Trabelsi.
