Umm Salal coach Aziz Ben Askar spoke to the media ahead of their 2020-21 season QNB Stars League Week 4 match against Al Arabi.

“We are fortunate that our preparations went off well and we have corrected some mistakes made by the team.

“The changes that we made recently were aimed at pumping fresh energy into the team. After last season’s dismal showing (finishing 10th in the league), we want the team to come back strongly and fare better.

“We worked hard and diligently, and will continue to work well. I have great confidence in the team’s ability to provide the best after we dealt well with the difficult circumstances that we went through during the last period,” said Ben Askar.
