The medical examinations the team's star Karim Boudiaf was subjected to this morning in Aspitar asserted that he suffered injury in the cartilage of the knee which call for therapeutic intervention for treatment , and the player will perform a surgery next Sunday morning in Aspitar and will be absent from the stadiums for a period between one month to six weeks and then will undergo rehabilitation trainings before returning to the stadiums again .

Boudiaf suffered injury in yesterday's match against Al Rayyan in Sheikh Jassim Cup final ( Super Cup ) in the first minutes of the match .

Karim is considered one of the most important cards which represented a constant presence in the team's list and contributed in the coronation of the team with the three championships last season and reaching the quarter-finals of the AFC champions league .
