BARCELONA FC turned down by SKRTEL in January

According to Liverpool Echo, Slovakian international centre-back Martin Skrtel (34), playing for Fenerbahçe since summer 2016, turned down Barcelona FC, on their offer to join. Former Reds powerhouse didn't get thrilled by Spanish giants' proposal, since the latter were planning to sign him only as a backup.
