The Al-Sadd first team began training on Monday in preparation for the upcoming QNB Stars League Round 17 game against Al-Rayyan, which will be held next Saturday, 7 March at Jassim bin Hamad Stadium.

The team held its training session at the club’s secondary pitch, following the two-day break granted by Spanish coach Xavi Hernandez on Saturday and Sunday, after the postponement of the AFC Champions League game against Al Ain, which was to be played on Tuesday.

All the available players were present at the session, in which the coaching staff worked on physical fitnesss, ahead of the intense run of fixtures that lay ahead.
