The Al-Sadd first team continued their daily training from their homes, under the remote supervision of head coach Xavi Hernandez, who has been developing a training program for the players.

The training is aimed at ensuring the players are prepared for the resumption of the QNB Stars League matches, which has been suspended since the end of Week 17, due to the Coronavirus pandemic.

The players are monitored via electronic and GPS devices by fitness coach Ivan Torres, to ensure that they are responding to the training program.

Xavi expressed his complete satisfaction with the players’ commitment to the training, which will continue remotely until the team is allowed to gather again to participate in group exercises.

Meanwhile, Al-Sadd attacker Hassan Al-Haydos started training with the ball, after he recovered from a knee injury that had sidelined him for the last two months. He had suffered the injury in the AFC Champions League group stage game against Iranian side Sepahan on February 18.
