Al Khor will play host to Al Sadd in the rescheduled match from Week 5 of the QNB Stars League on Wednesday, 28th November.

The kick-off is at 18:30 at the Al Khor Stadium.

The match was postponed due to Al Sadd’s engagements in the 2018 AFC Champions League, where they lost out to Iran’s Persepolis in the semifinals.

Al Sadd are second in the QNB Stars League table with 26 points, eight adrift of Al Duhail. The Wolves are sure to go all out as they want to be in strong contention for the title that they have won 13 times, the most by any team.

Al Sadd have registered eight victories, two draws and one defeat (against Al Ahli), while Al Duhail are the only unbeaten side in the tournament.

Al Sadd have the most goal difference (+38), having scored 48 goals and conceded 10.

They have another game, against Al Duhail, in hand. It has been rescheduled for 11th December, also owing to the AFC Champions League.

Al Sadd will miss influential Spanish midfielder Xavi Hernandez, who is out injured with a torn muscle.

On the other hand, Al Khor are desperate for points as they lie 11th with eight points. They are very much in the danger zone.

The Knights have two wins, as many draws and eight defeats against their name. Their goal difference is -14 (eight goals for and 22 against).

Al Sadd defeated Al Arabi 3-0, while Al Khor lost 0-1 to Al Duhail in the last round.
