Al Sailiya coach Sami Trabelsi spoke to the media ahead of their QNB Stars League Week 13 match against Al Gharafa.

“During the two-week international break, we worked on the players’ injuries and fatigue, and succeeded in helping most of them recover. The game against Al Gharafa assumed much significance for us.

“We wish to continue in the same way. Our players will show the same determination. The 3-3 draw we played out with Al Sadd in the third round of QSL Cup once again displayed our team’s character, which has helped us achieve many positive results.

“From the next rounds, we’ll try to collect maximum number of points. There’re five clubs, including Al Gharafa, competing for the top positions, so the game will be important for both teams. Our players are showing high concentration in matches of late.

“We’ll surely miss Rachid Tiberkanine due to his suspension. He’s one of the best players in the QNB Stars League as well. He’s an influential presence on the field. We hope the team won’t be affected by his absence,” said Trabelsi.
