Al Arabi will play a friendly against Al Wakrah on Thursday, 21st March, as part of preparations for their QNB Stars League Week 20 match against Al Ahli.

Al Wakrah recently returned to the top flight of Qatar’s club football after emerging as the Second Division champions.

Meanwhile, Al Arabi resumed their training at the Aspire Academy following a period of rest after their 1-2 loss to Al Gharafa in Week 19 of the QNB Stars League.

All members of the squad, except the injured duo of Ahmed Fathi and Abdulla Marafi as well as Qatar Olympic-team players, went through their paces under the guidance of coach Heimir Hallgrimsson.

Al Arabi are working on the areas for improvement after their defeat to Al Gharafa that resulted in them dropping full points following their back-to-back victories against Al Shahania and Al Sailiya.

The Dream Team, who aim to break into the top four this time, are currently sixth in the QNB Stars League standings with 27 points, four less than fourth-placed Al Sailiya.
