The Al-Sadd football first team delegations safely reached Jeddah on Sunday night, ahead of their upcoming 2019 AFC Champions League Group D opener against Al-Ahli. The game is set to be played on Tuesday at the King Abdullah Sports City.

Upon their arrival at King Abdulaziz Airport, the team was welcomed by representatives of Al-Ahli Club, who were keen to ensure the smooth processing of the team and their entry into Jeddah.

The Al-Sadd delegation is headed by general manager Turki Al Ali, and includes a 20-player matchday squad.

Squad: Saad Al-Dosari, Meshaal Barsham, Jehad Mohammed, Khoukhi Boualem, Yasir Abubakar, Hassan Al-Haydos, Salem Al-Hajri, Akram Afif, Hassan Ahmed, Abdelkarim Hassan, Pedro Miguel, Baghdad Bounedjah, Hamid Ismail, Meshaal Ibrahim, Tareq Salman, Jung Woo-young, Gabi, Hussain Bahzad, Ali Asad, Bahaa El-Lithy.

The Al-Sadd team will reside at the Casablanca Grand hotel for the duration of their stay in Jeddah. After reaching the hotel, the players had dinner before retiring to their respective rooms to sleep.

As per the schedule, the match coordination meeting will be held on Monday morning from 11 AM onwards, which will be followed by the pre-match press conference from 12:30 PM.

The team’s final training session will be held from 8:15 PM onwards on Monday.
