The 2020-21 season QNB Stars League’s Week 3 matches will be played on Saturday, 12th September, and Sunday, 13th September. Games will be played at the Qatar SC, Al Duhail, Al Khor and Al Arabi Stadiums.

Games will continue to have a limited number of spectators at the stadiums as precautionary measures against coronavirus (Covid-19) are in place.

The Week 3 fixtures are Al Kharaitiyat vs Al Sailiya (18:15, Qatar SC Stadium), Qatar SC vs Al Rayyan (20:30, Qatar SC Stadium), Al Wakrah vs Umm Salal (20:30, Al Duhail Stadium) on Saturday, Al Khor vs Al Ahli (18:15, Al Khor Stadium) and Al Arabi vs Al Gharafa (20:30, Al Arabi Stadium) on Sunday.

The high-profile match between Al Sadd and reigning champions Al Duhail has been postponed to a later date owing to their commitments in the 2020 AFC Champions League, which will resume on 14th September with all West Zone matches being scheduled in Doha.

The Al Arabi vs Al Gharafa game will highlight the week’s action. Both clubs have rich history and tradition besides many titles and honours to their credit. They also have huge fan following, so the contest is sure to be fought keenly on and off the field.

Al Arabi and Al Gharafa had lost in Week 2 to Al Ahli (0-2) and Al Rayyan (1-3) to be placed ninth and fifth with one and three points respectively.

Al Kharaitiyat, coming off a creditable 2-1 victory over Qatar SC and are placed seventh with three points, face Al Sailiya, who had lost 1-5 to Al Sadd in Week 2 and are positioned 11th with one point, in the week’s opening action.

Qatar SC, bottom of the table without a point, are up against Al Rayyan, third with four points.

Al Wakrah, who handed reigning champions Al Duhail a 1-0 shocker in Week 2, have Umm Salal challenge this time. Al Wakrah are sixth with three points and Umm Salal 10th with one point.

Al Khor, eighth with two points, host Al Ahli, who are on a high with six points and are placed second, in other action.
