2018 AFC Player of the Year: Abdelkarim Hassan

Al-Sadd star Abdelkarim Hassan was named as the AFC Player of the Year for 2018, at the AFC Annual Awards ceremony held in Muscat on Wednesday.

Abdelkarim played a prominent part in Al-Sadd’s run to the semi-finals of the 2018 AFC Champions League and the runners-up spot in QNB Stars League.

The 25-year-old is also one of the key members of the Qatar national team which is preparing for the 2019 AFC Asian Cup.
