Tough match awaits us: Qatar SC goalkeeping coach Wesner

Qatar SC goalkeeping coach Wesner spoke to the media ahead of their 2019-20 QNB Stars League Week 21 match against Al Sadd.

“A very tough match awaits us. We have important steps to take. Al Sadd are a big team and one of the best in Qatar. They have strong players, such as Rodrigo Tabata and Hassan Al Haidous, and we must be up to the challenge.

“In football, we should always prepare at the best level to achieve the desired results, and we must attach required importance to the remaining points on offer even though we played difficult matches recently. We must continue and play with a winning mentality and do everything we can to win. And why not?

“Facing top teams is not easy, especially since we are in a situation different from Al Sadd in terms of preparations. We have to analyse the technical level and must play without errors,” said Wesner.

Qatar SC player Kayke Rodriguez said, “We must trust our team and our capabilities, especially since we are in the final stages of the competition. I have already scored against teams like Al Sadd and Al Rayyan. I will try hard to score this time too.”
