QSL releases details of first phase of 2019-2020 season

The Qatar Stars League (QSL) has issued the schedule for the first phase of the QNB Stars League season (2019-2020) football which starts on August 21.

The first five rounds will be played at Al Janoub Stadium and Al Sadd Stadium where matches will be staged with cooling technology.

The venues for the remaining rounds will be determined after coordination with the Ministry of Culture and Sports following periodic maintenance of the stadiums.

The first section was issued after coordination with the National Teams Administration of the Qatar Football Association and Aspire Logistics led by Mr. Ghanim Al-Kuwari, Executive Director of Sports Facilities Operation Department, and the Ministry of Culture and Sports.

The first five rounds will be played in the air-conditioned stadiums, with daylight saving time starting from the sixth round scheduled for October.

The early start to the season has been planned keeping in view the busy football season in Qatar where the 24th Gulf Cup and the FIFA Club World Cup will be held this year.
