Doha: The first edition of the Qatar Olympic Committee (QOC) Beach Games kicked off with the participation of more than 500 male and female athletes at Aspire Park, Doha yesterday.
QOC Secretary-General Jassim Rashid Al Buenain attended the opening ceremony with a host of other key officials.
Beach games lovers and amateurs, invited by the QOC, take part in the Games which reflects the legacy of last year's ANOC Beach Games which took place at the Katara Beach.
