Bassam Al Rawi : " We Respect Al Rayyan But We Are Not Afraid From It

Our young player Bassam Al Rawi asserted that the team will perform a very difficult confrontation against Al Rayyan in the third round of the QNB Stars League .

Al Rawi said in a statement to the club website : " All Al Duhail matches against Al Rayyan are difficult , strong and exciting , but now the sitiuation is different as our loss or draw makes us lose our place and despite that the league is in its beginning but we want to win all the points in all confrontation and keep our title " .

Bassam continued by : " We respect Al Rayyan a lot and we know its strength but our goal is to win all the points , after we lost infront of them in the Super Cup on penalties and now we have the chance to compensate " .

Al Rawi said :" The coaching staff subjected us to a strong preparation for this confrontation specially that it is the final for us before entering the AFC champions league , and certainly we will present our best to achieve victory against Al Rayyan which will present a big motivation for us before persepolis Iranian team confrontation " .

And about the absences in the team , Al Rawy said : " We miss a number of our teammates for injuries and it is a big loss for us and a motivation in the same time to perform stringly and compensate these absences , and thank God Al Duhail owns the alternatives that are able to compensate the absences ".
