Tareq Salman: We weren’t lucky in the Champions League, our goal is to defeat us

Al-Sadd defender Tareq Salman has spoken about the importance of defeating Al-Ahli in the upcoming QNB Stars League game.

Speaking at the pre-match press conference, Tareq said: “We were not lucky and lost in the Champions League. We were hoping to go through to the final. We will now try to turn the page and play with a renewed spirit in the domestic tournaments. The team is ready for the game against Al-Ahli and we will look to give our best and get the win.”
