Maurizio Sarri's reign as Chelsea manager got off to a winning start courtesy of Pedro's goal in a 1-0 victory over Perth Glory in Australia.

Pedro struck from six-yards out after five minutes following good work from academy prospect Callum Hudson-Odoi, 17.

Jorginho, Chelsea's only summer signing so far, was handed his debut and he impressed in midfield as the Blues began their preseason with a win.

Chelsea face Manchester City in the Community Shield at Wembley on Aug. 5 before starting their Premier League campaign at Huddersfield on Aug. 11.
