This is what they had to say:

MAXIME BUSI

“I already knew Parma well, they’re a team with a great history. I’ve always followed Serie A, which is why I knew about them. At the present time, I can’t say anything about my condition: I’m working with the medical staff and am on the road to recovery. However, nothing is certain and therefore I can’t comment on a possible immediate return to action.

“I think I’m quite a complete player and I’m also able to join in with the attack down the wing. I try to cover the whole flank as much as possible. My idols? I’ve always been inspired by Fabio Cannavaro and Dani Alves.

“I knew that Serie A was one of the most tactical leagues in the world. This is another reason why I accepted this challenge: I wanted to grow from a tactical point of view and do precisely that here.”

JUAN FRANCISCO BRUNETTA

“When I was told about the possibility of coming to Parma, I didn’t hesitate for a second. Parma are a team that I know well, with renowned players having played for the Club. Serie A is also a competitive and exciting league, I hope to prove I’m up to it and I’ll do everything to ensure that I am.

“I was very happy to make my debut, especially after a difficult month with COVID-19 causing all sorts of problems. Taking to the pitch brought me immense joy and I’ve been really impressed with what I’ve seen. There’s a great group here and everyone really helps each another.

“Every Argentine youngster, especially those who play in his position, considered Riquelme to be an idol. I had the chance to see him play, and this helped me learn a lot.

“My objective is to be as complete a player as possible. I’ve got good technical ability, I like to have the ball between my feet and provide assists to my teammates. In European football, you need the same grit and temperament that are fundamental in Argentina. I consider myself to have these traits.”
