According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Italian U21 international goalkeeper Alex Meret (21), playing for SPAL as a loanee during last two seasons, is very close to leave Udinese for good, on an about 30 million euros fee, and join Napoli on a long-term deal. Meret, tracked by Inter Milan and AS Roma as well, is likely to be sidelined by another new goalie for Azzurri, probably a much more experienced one, who might be Andrea Consigli, set to join in from Sassuolo.
