Al Sailiya coach Sami Trabelsi spoke to the media ahead of their 2019-20 QNB Stars League Week 20 match against Al Rayyan.

“What makes it more difficult is that Al Rayyan will play only for victory in their attempt to win the league title. At the same time, Al Sailiya need to win in order to compensate for the previous two draws and keep alive our hopes of making it to the top four.

“We always play to win, regardless of the capabilities of the opposing team. There is no doubt that Al Sailiya respect Al Rayyan, but we have no fears.

“We played well in the previous match and were about to win, but due to a mistake in the last moments, we tied with Al Shahania. We felt bad having lost those two points. Our match against Al Rayyan will be different from the Al Shahania game and we expect a strong and exciting match.

“We have prepared the team in all aspects, but unfortunately our constant problem remains, inability to take advantage of the opportunities in front of the goal.

“We will try to learn from our mistakes and not to repeat them in order to accomplish the task in the best possible way,” said Trabelsi.

Al Sailiya player Mohammed Abuzraik said, “We are ready on all fronts to face Al Rayyan. We know that Al Rayyan are competing for the league title. But for us, winning is necessary in order to improve our position in the table. So, we are motivated to provide our best.”
