The Al-Sadd football first team resumed training on Thursday evening, launching their preparations for the upcoming 2019 AFC Champions League Group D clash against Persepolis on Matchday 2.

The match is set to be played at the Jassim bin Hamad Stadium on Tuesday, March 12.
Earlier, Al-Sadd fell to a 2-0 defeat to Saudi Arabia’s Al-Ahli on Matchday 1.
The coaching staff used Thursday’s session to implement recovery training and get rid of fatigue after the Al-Ahli match. The other players underwent physical and technical training.

Meanwhile, Al-Sadd’s Khoukhi Boualem continued to undergo treatment and recuperation as he looks to be ready for the Persepolis clash. He had missed the Al-Ahli game due to injury.
